Crescent Decanter, 1.4 L

One hooked curve, balanced on its lower horn, with the neck drawn out of the top of the sweep. The wine sits in the belly of the hook and runs the length of the curve as you tilt it, which is a slower and more deliberate pour than any of the upright shapes.

It is the most sculptural piece we make and the least practical, and we would rather you knew that before it arrives. It is awkward to dry, it needs a clear stretch of table, and the inside of the hook has to be reached with a long brush. People buy it anyway.
