Harbour Decanter, 1.2 L

A flat round disc standing on edge, with a slim neck rising from one shoulder. Seen from the front it is a full circle; from the side it almost disappears. That is the useful part: it gives the wine the surface area of a much larger decanter while taking up about four centimetres of table depth.

It is also the easiest piece in the range to see wine through, because the body is only a few centimetres deep and the colour reads true rather than stacked. The narrow profile means it tips more easily than a round-bellied shape, so give it a flat surface and not a tablecloth over a join.
