Feather Decanter, 1.6 L

A straight cylinder with walls about a millimetre thick and a lip that flares just enough to stop a drip. Empty it weighs less than a wine bottle, which is the whole argument for it — you can pour one-handed, at arm's length, without the wobble a heavy base gives you.

Thin glass is also the trade-off. The Feather chips if you knock it against a tap, and it is the one piece in the range we would not hand to a distracted guest. If that worries you, the Obelisk does the same job in heavier glass.
