Helix Decanter, 1.95 L
One continuous tube of crystal, coiled four open turns around an empty centre and finishing in a flared neck. It is the hardest thing we ask the workshop to make and the slowest to get right; a coil that sags by a few millimetres on one turn is scrapped, and a fair number are.
Pouring into it is a two-stage business — the wine runs the length of the coil before it settles, which is where the aeration happens. Pouring out of it is slow by design. Nobody needs a decanter like this. It is the piece people photograph.

Fill with warm water, swirl, and let it run out through the coil; a long flexible brush will not follow the curve, so do not force one. Dry standing upright on a rack over a full day. Full instructions are on our care and materials page. Dimensions are approximate: every piece is blown by hand and no two are identical.
