Horn Decanter, 1.2 L

A tapering horn, wide at the open top, curving down to a closed point that rests on a small curled foot of the same glass. It is the only piece in the range that cannot stand on its own base, and the foot is the reason it stays where you put it.

Because the body narrows toward the bottom the wine sits deep and opens slowly, which suits a wine that is already where you want it. It also pours from an unusually high lip, so give yourself a moment the first time.
